The Rockies Film Series has announced its spring festival dates as March 1 to 3, 2012.

Passes to the festival, which is a veritable feast of cinematic treasures, are available at Lotus Books. A Silver Pass, at $40, allows entry to four films and a Gold Pass allows entry to eight films.  Both passes must be exchanged for individual tickets prior to the screening of your selected movies. The passes cannot be used to buy more than one ticket for any given movie.

Individual tickets for festival movies will be $12 at the door or at Lotus Books.

The next film cued up in the Rockies Film Series is Margin Call, running on January 5/2012. Margin Call is the critically lauded film that has been named best first feature of the year by the New York Film Critics circle.

Set in the high-stakes world of the financial industry, Margin Call is an entangling thriller involving the key players at an investment firm during one perilous 24-hour period in the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis.

When an entry-level analyst unlocks information that could prove to be the downfall of the firm, a roller-coaster ride ensues as decisions both financial and moral catapult the lives of all involved to the brink of disaster
