Santa Claus and his always-smiling wife Mrs. Claus joined hundreds of others in the annual Santa Claus Parade in downtown Cranbrook Friday, Nov. 28.

Despite their increasingly busier schedule heading toward Christmas, the magical couple made the time to the delight of hundreds of children lining Baker Street, shining from the torrential rain that beat down before and during the procession.

Shortly after Santa and Mrs. Claus and the dozens of parade floats and entries concluded their ride, the heavy rain turned to snow – and lots of it.

Once again, strong and loud kudos to JCI Kootenay for staging the Key City’s launch toward the Christmas season.
