Chamber survey focuses on doing business in Cranbrook

The Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce is calling on all businesses to participate in a new survey seeking input on doing business in Cranbrook.

Lana Kirk

“During our Chamber Board strategy session earlier this year, Mayor Wayne Stetski challenged the chamber to provide advice to council and city staff about barriers to business in
Cranbrook, and how those could be addressed,” says Chamber President Lana Kirk, adding,  “we’ve chosen to do this with a survey that we hope will be completed by existing businesses, businesses just getting started, or those who have left the business world.”

The survey is available on line at: https://www.cranbrookchamber.com/

The results will be compiled by the chamber and shared with the city and the business community later this fall.

“We need to hear from all businesses: big, small, chamber members, non-chamber members, everyone,” stresses Kirk. “The information will not only assist council in learning more about successes and challenges in encouraging business in Cranbrook, but it will also help us as we work with the city to identify future economic development opportunities. Having a good cross-section of business experiences and input is so important to giving us a full picture. We want to hear your story, so please participate!”

The deadline to have surveys filled out or returned to the Chamber is Friday, October 26 at 4:30 p.m.
