Invermere Coffee Fest Art Competition

Art and Coffee Lovers are invited to join the Invermere Coffee Fest Art Competition “The Art of Coffee.” Promoting art and the coffee culture.
Artists work will be showcased at the Coffee Fest Expo in the Columbia Valley Centre on March 3rd, 2018 from 10am-2pm.
This competition is free to enter.
Artists are encouraged to submit an original and signed piece of artwork that represents the theme of coffee. The work submitted can be any form of art with no restriction on media used (painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media etc).
Coffee Fest Expo attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite piece of coffee art. The winner of “the Art of Coffee” will receive a $50 gift certificate to Mona Lisa Artists’ Materials in Calgary and a $50 gift certificate to Kicking Horse Coffee in Invermere.
All contestants will be notified by email and the winner will be posted on the Invermere BC Events Facebook Page.
Each artist must submit a small description of the art piece with the media used. Each piece displayed will be for sale at Coffee Fest (Artist will be contacted if sold) and the piece will be returned to the artists following the event. Artwork is encouraged to be submitted in a frame.
January 12th, 2018: Registration opens for art submissions.
February 22nd, 2018: Until 4pm: Final deadline for artwork submissions.
March 3rd, 2018: Artwork is displayed and for sale at Invermere Coffee Fest Expo.
March 5th, 2018: Winner is contacted and announced on Invermere BC Facebook Events page!
Please drop off artwork to the District of Invermere Municipal Office between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday- Friday: 914 8 Ave Invermere, BC V0A 1K0 from January 12th- February 22nd, 2018.,
