Camp Odyssey is back! For a second year, experienced educators Batty Patty and Ms. Kim will be leading groups of 7-12 year-olds through wild and wonderful summer day camps. For 2020, Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook’s Camp Odyssey will run for two weeks in Kimberley on July 13-17 and August 24-28, and new this year, a week in Cranbrook August 17-21!
Camp Odyssey is a nature-based summer day camp with a focus on daily hikes and nature exploration. It will be outdoors the entire day, much of that time on the move exploring. but there will be plenty of time for free play and creativity. Other activities may include wilderness survival skills, fort building, gardening, splash park, crafts, and games!
In Kimberley, we are based out of Kimberley Independent School and spend several days in the Kimberley Nature Park. In Cranbrook, we are based out of St. Mary’s Catholic Independent School, and spend most days in and around Kinsmen Park, with one or two larger excursions into the Cranbrook Community Forest.
Daily and weekly registrations are now open. $255 for full week registrations, $55/day for single day registrations. Full payment is required at time of registration. Full and partial bursaries are also available by request to [email protected].
Camp Odyssey runs from 9am-3:30pm, July 13-17 and August 24-28 in Kimberley, and August 17-21 in Cranbrook.
