Learn how to paint with watercolours created from unwanted invasive plants! Yes, put those pesky plants to good use!
In this two hour eco-friendly workshop, we will discuss the harmful effects of invasive plants and put them to good use as we creating beautiful paintings using the pigments extracted from them.
Participants will learn best practices for harvesting noxious weeds along with a simple step-by-step process of how to make plant-based watercolour paints. We will also teach techniques for painting with these invasive plants.
All materials will be provided, participants are welcome to bring their own if desired.
Cafe Allium is open for Dinner downstairs beforehand, and so is the gallery! Come early to have a bite to eat or take a look at the gallery for inspiration!
