Aiming for a third term in office
MLA Norm Macdonald accepted the nomination for NDP candidate for Columbia River – Revelstoke during a meeting in Kimberley on Sunday, October 28.
Macdonald was first elected MLA in 2005. He serves as the Opposition Critic for Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations and Rural Caucus Chair.
Macdonald will be running against Liberal Party candidate Doug Clovechok in the May 2013 provincial election.
