The Association of Professional Engineers and Geologists of BC (APEGBC) recently presented Michel de Spot a Sustainability Award for Kimberley’s SunMine.

EcoSmart Foundation’s CEO, de Spot, P.Eng. (left) is presented the award by APEGBC Past President, Dr. John Clague, P.Geo. (right). APEGBC’s Sustainability Award recognizes a project that demonstrates a commitment to, and understanding of the concept of sustainability.

EcoSmart Foundation is a Vancouver-based non-profit foundation promoting economically and ecologically smart projects between public and private sectors.

Michel de Spot was a driving force behind the SunMine concept and project.
