City endorses 27 groups/programs for CBT funding
The City of Fernie is putting forth a list of 27 community groups and programs that it is endorsing for Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) funding following a Community Input Meeting.
Council April 9 recommended that the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) endorse the Columbia Basin Trust 2012/2013 Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Program funding allocations as follows:

This recommendation has been forwarded to the RDEK Board for consideration. The regional board will make the final funding decision at its June 7 meeting and applicants will be advised of approved projects on June 10 – 14.
