COTR Kimberley hosting Community Registration Day
College of the Rockies’ Kimberley Campus is again hosting a one-stop registration event for families.
On September 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., community members will have the opportunity to sign-up for all of their fall activities and events at one location.
Sponsored by the college and Columbia Basin Trust, the event is a convenient way for local families to register themselves or their children for activities, clubs or educational opportunities for the fall, all at the same time at the Kimberley Campus.
This second annual Community Registration Day is a perfect fit with the City of Kimberley’s First Saturdays festivities and coincides nicely with September’s ‘Community’ theme.
College of the Rockies Auxiliary Assistant Josh Lockhart says, “There has been a lot of enthusiasm for the event so far. We have many businesses and groups signed up and are seeing new ones coming on board every day. If there are community organizations that have not been contacted but would like to participate they can contact me to get signed up.
“Not only is this a great opportunity for businesses and groups to interact with the public but it also gives them the chance to build relationships and partnerships with other organizations in the community,” Lockhart continued.
For more information on the Kimberley Community Fall Registration Day or to sign up as a participating organization, contact Josh Lockhart at (250) 427-7116 ext. 3752 or email: [email protected] .
