The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP, starting on the weekend of Feb 15 through to Feb. 22.

The detachment received 119 calls for service throughout the week.

– Police responded to two Immediate Roadside prohibitions (alcohol);

– One – 24 hour driving prohibition (by drug);

– 10 motor vehicle collisions including four out of the city, five collisions in the city plus one hit and run;

– Nine Mental Health calls, with seven apprehended in total;

– Seven assault complaints: four arrested (three domestic and one non domestic);

– Four theft/ frauds reported;

– One Break and Enter to business – nothing stolen;

– Two drug seizures.
