Freezing rain is creating slippery conditions on Highway 3 and 95A, reports DriveBC, which has issued a Travel Advisory.

Freezing rain is reported occurring from Moyie to Wardner on Highway 3 and on Highway 95A from Cranbrook to Kimberley and through to Wasa Junction.

Highways elsewhere in the region are currently snow covered with slippery sections.

Please us extreme caution when travelling. Expect slippery sections. Sanding in progress.
