Griz Days celebrates 39th staging in one month
Fernie Welcomes the World
The Fernie Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fernie present the 39th Griz Days Winter Festival, under the theme ‘Fernie Welcomes the World.’
This staging will take place from March 4 – 6 in both beautiful Downtown Fernie and on our world-renowned ski hill: Fernie Alpine Resort. The festival will feature traditional events as well as new and exciting components over the entire weekend.
Griz Days is excited to have a new title sponsor: Fernie Ford in association with Legacy Auto Group. Thank you to other sponsors already showing support including: Fernie Alpine Resort, Fernie Super 8, BC Hydro, Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) and McDonalds. Griz Pins will once again be available for sale with proceeds going towards the Fernie Food Bank and F.I.R.E – Fernie Adaptive Snow Program.
Griz Days is a staple of Fernie that welcomes people young and old to enjoy outdoor recreation during the winter. From the Baby Griz Crawl race to the Extreme Griz Competition it promotes engagement in the community. The weekend will feature non- stop excitement.
