The book is closed on an illegal asphalt dump that occurred in Marysville on Saturday.

Two dump truck loads of pavement were dumped on private property in the industrial area (315th Avenue) of Marysville, initiating a Kimberley RCMP investigation.

However, the search, pushed along through the media and social media, was a short one as “the guilty party has come forward and admitted fault as well as agreed to clean up the mess at their own expense,” reported the property owner earlier this afternoon.
