Juras taking run at Mayor’s seat in Canal Flats
Ute Juras has been a member of the Village of Canal Flats council since its inception and first elections in 2004.
In addition, she has served almost two terms (six years) as the village’s representative at the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) board of directors’ table.
Following the conclusion of the October RDEK meeting, Juras announced her intention to run for mayor of the village.
