The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) reports there will be a planned BC Hydro power outage happening in the Windermere area on March 24 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

During this outage, the RDEK is asking people using the East Side Lake Windermere Water System, Holland Creek Water and Sewer Systems, and Baltac Sewer System to conserve water and limit use of the affected sewer systems to essential use only.
