Suspect sought in JulyFest assault
Kimberley RCMP are seeking assistance from the public regarding an assault that occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 20 during JulyFest.
The following day police received a report that a male, described as approximately 6 feet tall, 150 lbs with a slender build and curly brown above the shoulder length hair, assaulted another male outside a house party on Fortier St. The attack, which was unprovoked, resulted in the victim requiring medical attention for injuries sustained as a result of the incident. The suspect male was not known to the victim and his identity remains unknown at this time.
