A water service installation scheduled for Monday, June 8 will result in a brief water shutdown on the 800 block of Baker Street in Cranbrook, directly affecting only one business. The shutdown will happen between 8 and 11 a.m.

However, once the water service is restored some businesses in the immediate area may experience some slight discoloration in the water for a brief period. Should you experience discoloration please discharge water at your cold water tap until the water is clear.

This discolouration is not a public health concern.

The City of Cranbrook apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks those affected for their patience and understanding.
