The Village of Canal Flats is the place to be this weekend for good old Rocky Mountain springtime festival fun.

Canal Days is underway today (Friday, May 31) and really gets rolling tomorrow, Saturday, June 1 before concluding Sunday, June 2.

Events include the themed parade on Saturday morning, pancake breakfast, live music, bingo, community dance, sports tourneys, plenty of fun for the kids, a classic car show, food vendors, beverage garden and more.

Aside from the parade down Grainger Road, the majority of the fun takes place at the Canal Flats Civic Centre and grounds, beside the arena and Cenotaph.
