Preliminary election results show that Karl Sterzer is the fourth Mayor in the history of the Village of Canal Flats.

Sterzer earned 270 votes in today’s election, with challenger Brian Woodward (112).

Elected to council are: Douglas McCutcheon (236 votes), Marie Delorme (220), Kimberly Swerdferger (209), Bill Lake (195).

Rounding out the council vote: Benoit Charbonneau – 134; Paul Marcil – 163; Todd Rotvold – 163; Roy Webb – 87.
