On January 2, the BC Provincial Crown Prosecutor’s office approved six charges in relation to a motor vehicle incident that occurred on July 9, 2024 in Wilmer where three individuals were fatality injured.

Columbia Valley resident Haley Watson is charged with three counts of Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death and three counts of Dangerous Operation of Conveyance Causing Death of Jackson Freeman, Gavin Murray and Brady Tardif.

Haley Watson’s first appearance in the Invermere Provincial Court was scheduled for January 13. Her next court appearance is scheduled for February 10.
