Columbia Valley Search and Rescue (CVSAR) is continuing its first-ever annual fundraising campaign.

The volunteer-run life-and-limb saving group is raising funds to replace aging equipment. CVSAR we needs two replacement four-by-four trucks and an all-terrain vehicle.

Thus far, $18,600 has been raised toward the $140,000 goal.

“Our rescue team is 100% volunteer and this equipment will improve our incident response; increasing a victim’s chance of survival and ensuring the safety of our rescue team,” CVSAR noted on social media.
