AGM to feature Jumbo Wild
The Jumbo Creek Conservation Society AGM will include another screening of Jumbo Wild. The Patagonia film made by Sweetgrass Productions, tells the story of the decades-long battle over the future of British Columbia’s iconic Jumbo Valley – and highlights the tension between protection of the backcountry experience and ever-increasing development interests in the wilderness.

The AGM is Tuesday, November 17 at David Thompson Secondary School in Invermere. Doors open at 7 p.m.
The AGM begins at 7:30 p.m. and film: 8 – 9 p.m.
What a year this has been! Things have not looked so good for keeping Jumbo Wild since the early ‘90s, but there is still work ahead.
