COVID-19 has arrived in Invermere
The Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce this afternoon reported to members via an email newsletter that COVID-19 pandemic has arrived in the Columbia Valley.
“Sadly, this global issue has reached our little valley. We have all been preparing for this. Now more than ever we need to remain level-headed and community focused,” the chamber noted.
“Now more than ever we need to bound together by staying apart.”
Media reports today note the infected person is part of the Columbia Valley Rockies junior hockey organization.
