IFF running virtually Feb. 23-28

The Invermere Film Festival (IFF) returns for a second run Feb. 23-28 but virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are very excited that during the pandemic a new technology has presented itself, to allow film festivals to go online with complete security and protection, for both the filmmakers and their distributors,” the IFF website notes.

“Presenting a virtual festival is new to us, as we are sure it is new to you, but we believe you will get the hang of it pretty quickly! It’s very cool.”

Would-be viewers must be located in B.C. or Alberta to screen the films.

Once you start watching a film, you will have 72 hours to finish watching it.

Films can be screened on a smart tv with internet, your devices, such as your phone or tablet, or with Apple TV or Roku.
