Invermere allows utility bill extensions due to COVID-19
Invermere property owners struggling with the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic now have extra time to pay their 2020 Utility Bill.
Stating it recognizes the extraordinary circumstances created by the pandemic, and the financial challenges these circumstances may be creating for some residents and businesses, the District of Invermere reports it will not enforce the five per cent penalty for late utility bill payments until November 2.
“Property owners have until November 2 to pay their utility bill without penalty,” the district stated on social media.
