Downtown Invermere came alive Saturday, July 22 with Valley Appreciation Day, presented by the District of Invermere with support from the Downtown Invermere Business Committee and local contributors.

A big section of Main Street (7^th Avenue) and the lakeside section of 13^th Street was closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as many hundreds of people lined up for the free pancake breakfast and then take in a wide array of information and entertainment booths, musical and dance entertainment, games, art and much more.
