Library Board names new director
The Invermere Public Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Library Director.
Following a comprehensive hiring process, Anne Rogers will take over the position from Nicole Pawlak who announced her resignation from the library earlier this fall after a decade of service to the organization.
Ms. Rogersā appointment will be effective December 16, 2019.
Ms. Rogers brings 10 years of experience in library service delivery from her work as a teacher-librarian in Medicine Hat, Alta. before relocating to Invermere last spring.
She has been working part-time since September of this year at the Invermere Public Library so many Columbia Valley residents will have already had the opportunity to interact with her.
Ms. Rogers is looking forward to the exciting opportunities that lay ahead for her in this new role as Library Director.
