Main Street (7th Avenue) and12th Ave intersection in downtown Invermere saw a coulorful transformation overnight May 28, with a freshly painted rainbow crosswalk.

This crosswalk is a symbol of pride in the diversity, equality and the inclusion of our town and a celebration of the LGBTQ2IA+ community.

Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June. CV Pride Festival is taking place on Saturday, June 15 from 1-4 p.m. in Pothole Park.
