41st Fishing Clinic a huge success

The Cranbrook Firefighters’ Association would like to thank all of the kids and their families for coming out and supporting the 41st annual Cranbrook Firefighter’s fishing clinic.

Without the strong support of our community this event could not have been such a huge success. A big thank you goes out to all of the firefighters, past, present and fallen for inspiring and making this event so successful and memorable. It has been an honour for us to keep this community event running year after year.

We would also like to send a special thank you to, Trans Canada Corporation, BC Hydro and the Kootenay Trout Hatchery, for their continuing support, grants and donations. Thank you to anyone that we may have missed who helped make this such an amazing event.

Congratulations to Maddison Kultgen for catching the biggest fish this year.

Maddision’s fish was 13” long and she won a full day guided fishing trip on the Skookumchuck River for two. Prizes were also given out for first fish, second biggest fish and the most honourable fisherman.

Thanks again everyone for coming out and supporting the Fishing Clinic and we hope to see you again next year.
