46th annual Santa Claus Parade Friday
Downtown Cranbrook is going to crackle to life Friday evening when the Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services, BC Ambulance and RCMP sirens begin wailing to launch the the 46th annual JCI Kootenay Santa Claus Parade.
Join together with the entire community to celebrate the start of the Christmas season in Cranbrook with the 2016 Santa Claus Parade on Friday, November 25, starting at 7 p.m. on Baker Street.
This year’s parade theme is ‘Christmas Stories / Movies’ with all proceeds going to the Cranbrook Food Bank.
As always, dress accordingly because the weather conditions are always a little bit different each year. Environment Canada says it will be cloudy with 30% chance of rain showers or flurries, with a low of minus 3 on Friday evening.
Don’t forget to check out the annual Cranbrook Farmers’ Winter Market, which starts Nov. 25 and runs until Nov. 27.
