Water utility customers can expect to experience some water discolouration periodically over the next couple of months, as the City of Cranbrook begins its annual water main flushing program today. Flushing will generally happen between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday for the duration of the program.

Flushing will be happening from 3rd Street South to 11th Street South between 27th Avenue South and 34th Avenue South.

The annual flushing program is done each year to ensure water mains are clear of sediment in order to provide the best water quality possible to your home and business. The city will provide updates regularly, so you know where the flushing program is moving to next.
