Another blue bird Open Garden Day
The Cranbrook Garden Club’s 28th annual Open Garden Day was another perfect day for gardening and landscaping enthusiasts, as well as photographers.
Seven different, beautiful gardens were featured this year, on display in sunny early summer glory.
Dazzling arrays of flowers, clever landscaping and artistic bents were a-plenty as visitors gathered ideas and chatted with people they haven’t seen since last year’s Open Garden Day; it has a dedicated core attending every year!
Along with unique looks at city yards and gardens, Open Garden Day features guest informational, such as FireSmart, East Kootenay Invasive Species Council, Cranbrook’s Water Ambassador and more, along with local artisans showcasing their wares.
