Lane Pool to remain closed a little longer
The Aquatic Centre at Western Financial Place reopens to customers on Monday, July 4 as usual following an annual two-week maintenance shutdown.
The wave pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room will all be available starting July 4; however, a mechanical issue with the lane pool is going to keep that pool closed a little longer. Parts to complete the repair have been ordered.
Because the lane pool will not be available, the Junior Lifeguard session scheduled to start next week has been cancelled.
For Aquafit classes, every effort will be made to accommodate those in the wave pool. All other scheduled swim lessons and classes will go ahead as planned.
