From the FRIENDS: “A Spring Book Sale is happening in the Manual Training School May 1, 2 and 3.
Friday, May 1 is for Friends Members only from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2 everyone is welcome from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And by popular demand a Bag Sale will be on Sunday, May 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Only Friends Library bags can be used and filled for $5. If you don’t have this bag one can be purchased at the sale and filled for $10.
There will be loads of books, puzzles, games, magazines, DVDs and Audiobooks. This is a great opportunity to load up with items for your spring and summer leisure time.
We are happy to accept donations year-round for our sales. Items in good condition are appreciated and can be dropped off at the Welcome Desk in the Library. Magazines must be published within the last two years.
Our sales accept cash or cheque only.
Our hours are:
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday
1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday
