Annual book sale returns Sept. 28

It is just 10 days to the annual Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary and Friends of the Library Book sale.

This is a great opportunity to browse slightly used books, CDs, DVDs and much more for bargains galore. The sale gets underway on Wednesday, September 28 at noon for members of the Friends of the Library.

Don’t let that discourage you; you can become a member at the door. The sale is open to the public on Thursday and Friday from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and of course our famous bag day on Sunday.

Buy a Friends of the Library bag for $5 and fill it for $5 dollars, as many books as you can stuff in it for $5 of course this is the end of the sale so you want to come early to get the better selection but it is still a day filled with bargains. From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 2.

All of this takes place at the Ktunaxa Gym on Cranbrook Street.  Stop by and browse you never know you may find that gem you have been looking for. Or like me you will buy the book you gave to the book sale last year.

Do you have used books you would like to donate? Donations are always welcome please drop off at the library. One word of caution we do not accept encyclopedias. Nor text books older than five years. Thanks for being considerate.
