Celebrate the BC Family Day long weekend in Cranbrook with the CBK-X Winter Blitzville 2020 on Saturday, February 15 at Western Financial Place starting at 5:30 p.m.

The second annual Winter Blitzville returns with X games champion Brett Turcotte and his Monster Energy team, ready to show off their death-defying, high-energy snowmobile riding.

This year, the event will feature more food tents and breweries, and more musical entertainment for the whole family on the B.C. and Alberta Family Day weekend at the new, larger site — Western Financial Place.

Expect double the ramps, and twice the rail jam, with X games and snowboard champions from the area laying down mind-boggling, death-defying crazy jack stunts.

To conclude the day’s fun, there will be the largest display of fireworks ever seen in the depth of a Cranbrook winter.

The event is free but donations are encouraged and welcomed.

Parking for the event will be restricted to the south end of the Western Financial Place parking lot, and on-street parking.
