D-Shift of Cranbrook Fire & Emergency Services responded to a structure fire located on King St. on Tuesday, June 25.

The call for service was received at 12:45 p.m. with 17 fire fighters, two engines and one tender responding.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a structure fully involved. Firefighters attacked the fire from two sides and were able to prevent further spread to other structures nearby.

There were no injuries.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will begin shortly.
