Chamber’s Christmas luncheon Dec. 11

The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce’s December luncheon is all about the ‘Spirit of Giving.’

The Dec. 11 luncheon meeting kicks off with a festive performance by the EK Performing Arts followed by the Turkey Drive grand total reveal.

Brent Bidston from Angel Flight East Kootenay Association will be guest speaker this month. Angel Flight consists entirely of volunteers that fly residents of the East Kootenay to medical appointments in Kelowna. Angel Flight is trying the bridge the gap between accessible medical treatment.

In the spirit of giving the chamber will be selecting some non-profit organizations to join them and spotlight some of the great things they are doing within the community and speak to how members can help their cause.

Don’t forget to bring your cheque book because there will be a great selection of silent auction items that have been donated. Proceeds from the auction will be divided among the non-profits.

Please arrive early to meet with these organizations and bid on the silent auction.

The December 11 luncheon, starting at 11 a.m., is at the Heritage Inn Hotel and Convention Centre.

Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce returns with the annual Turkey Drive.

Each pledge of $20 will fund a hamper that will feed a family this holiday season. Help us reach our goal of $50,000!

To pledge, call us at 250-426-5914.

Reserve your seat for the luncheon.
