CHCA has new after-hours donation bin

The Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary (CHCA) is happy to announce its new after-hours donation bin has arrived.

The bin was a first off for the local manufacturing company Fab-Rite Services Ltd, which, through virtual design and skill manufactured the bin with necessary input from our volunteer Lindsay Mikkelson.

Lindsay was very aware of our need to protect our valuable donations dropped off at our Thrift Store on 8th Avenue. Vandals have been vandalizing our old drop off bin for some time and the CHCA had to take some steps to put a stop to this.

The new ‘After-Hours Drop Off Bin’ has now been installed and we are already witnessing the rewards.

Our sincere thanks to Mike Kozinuk, President of Fab-Rite Services Limited, who generously donated 50% of the cost of the bin, and, if the current donations are an indication of  what we were losing, “the new bin will be well worth it,”  said Odette Rouse, CHCA first vice president.

Our sincere thanks to Fab-Rite for your very generous donation.

All funds raised by the Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary stay in Cranbrook and are used to purchase much needed equipment for our hospital.
