With heavy rainfall and localized flooding being reported across B.C. and the region the past 24 hours, we are closely monitoring our local water bodies.

We’re fortunate in that we have not seen the rainfall amounts that many other areas are reporting, and our reservoirs and creeks are keeping up with the rainfall with no flooding currently being reported.

We have our do-it-yourself sandbag fill station open next to our Public Works yard on Cobham Avenue for those who wish to use it. Please bring your own shovel.

Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing tonight. Please be aware there could be slippery roads and sidewalks Tuesday morning.
