Cranbrook celebrates Canada’s 158th birthday
The City of Cranbrook hosted a sprawling 158th birthday party for Canada Tuesday, July 1 at Rotary Park and many hundreds of residents converged on the shady downtown park for family fun and celebrations.
Along with the awarding of Citizenship Awards by Mayor Wayne Price, there was a variety of food, kids’ entertainment, information and general fun generated at Rotary Park’s main attractions such as the splash pool and playground.
Here’s a brief look from a wander around Rotary Park on a hot (33 C) Tuesday afternoon.
