Letter to the Editor

The Cranbrook Garden Club’s 24th annual Open garden day July 10 was a successful event thanks to the efforts and support of many.

Special thanks to our garden hosts: Joanne and Steve Weatherall; Doris and Paul Lawson; Roxanne and Ian Ferrier; Journey and Tanis Banks; Daniel and Bernadette Chretien; Stacy and Steve Schartner; and Karissa and Dan Wilford.

Thanks to all of our garden artisans as well as East Kootenay Invasive Species Council, also Shelter for Ukrainian Society and the folks who purchased tickets  to this event! We also appreciate the support from other garden clubs in the Kootenays.

The Cranbrook Open Garden Day Committee would also like to recognize our many Garden Club members who volunteered their time to make this event such a success which ultimately enables our club to support a variety of community enhancements projects each year!
