Cranbrook Library endowment fund reaches $20,000

Through the generous donations by the Friends of the Library, the Cranbrook Public Library’s own silent auction, and the support of people in the community, the library was able to add just over $6,700 to its Endowment Fund, putting the total contributions made to slightly more than $20,000.

It was only last year that the library raised $10,000 to establish the fund. The purpose of the fund is to create opportunities for future generations of Cranbrook Public Library users.

While public funding makes it possible for the Cranbrook Public Library to open its door, it thrives because people love it.

Each year, people make generous donations that make it possible for the library to acquire more collection items, enhance programs and refresh furnishings. The Cranbrook Public Library Endowment Fund gives people an opportunity to create a meaningful legacy, to build a strong foundation in the present for the future of the library.

Children and adults come here to learn how to read. Young and old come here to continue their lifelong learning. People from all walks of life come here to create, collaborate and connect. Donations to the Endowment Fund help make this all possible.
