Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a summary of calls reported to Cranbrook RCMP for the period between 12 a.m. March 18 to March 24, at 12 p.m.
Calls for Service: 154
Three impaired driving: Including one 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP), one three-day IRP, one 24-hour prohibition.
Seven collisions: four in the city and three outside the city.
13 driving complaints: Seven in the city and six outside the city.
11 assaults: Including an assault with a weapon (bear spray), assault with a weapon (rock) and assault causing bodily harm (arrests made for all three).
Eight thefts: including: one shoplifting and five thefts from vehicles.
One break and enter.
One robbery: A shoplifting incident where a convenience store owner was assaulted (no injury) as the offender fled.
Five mischief to property.
13 false alarms and false 911 calls.
