Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a summary of calls reported to Cranbrook RCMP for the period between 12 a.m. March 25 to April 7, at 12 p.m. Please note this report is for a two-week period.
Calls for Service: 329
One impaired driving: A 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP).
Seven collisions: Five in the city; two outside the city.
36 driving Complaints: 22 in the city and 14 outside the city.
15 assaults: Including seven domestic in nature.
17 thefts: including five shoplifting.
Four thefts of bicycles.
One theft from vehicle.
Two break and enters. One B&E to a residence; suspect arrested and charged.
One robbery: An attempted purse snatching at Tamarack Mall; youth suspect arrested and charges recommended to Crown.
13 mischief to property.
31 false alarms and false 911 calls.
