Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a breakdown of calls responded to by Cranbrook RCMP officers between April 29 and May 12. Please note this report is for a two-week period.
Calls for Service: 319
Seven impaired driving: Including four 90-day Immediate Roadside prohibitions (IRP); one criminal investigation for impaired driving (drugs); one 24-hour prohibition (drugs); and one 24-hour prohibition (alcohol).
Six collisions, including four in the city and two outside the city.
28 driving complaints: including 15 in the city and 13 outside the city.
Six assaults: Including an assault on a police officer and another was domestic in nature.
18 thefts: including nine for shoplifting, five thefts from motor vehicle and a theft of a bicycle.
Four break and enters. One subject was arrested in relation to one of the investigations.
11 mischief to property.
23 false alarms and false 911 calls.
