The following is a summary of some of the calls reported to Cranbrook RCMP for the period between Jan. 6 to January 26, 2020. Please note this report is for a three-week period
Calls for Service: 482
Three impaired driving: Including one Criminal Code Impaired driving; one three-day Immediate Roadside prohibition (IRP) and one 24-hour prohibition.
36 collisions: 18 in the city and 18 outside the city.
37 driving complaints: 15 in the city and 22 outside the city.
14 assaults.
22 thefts: including one theft of vehicle, two thefts from motor vehicles and four shoplifting.
Four break and enters.
12 mischief to property.
Two drug seizures.
33 false alarms and false 911 calls.
