Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) Jan. 3. to 6 a.m., Jan. 9.
Police handled 82 calls for service throughout this week.
Among the calls police handled…
Six collisions – four in town/ two outside of town…no major injuries.
One Hit and Run – happened in mid December.
Three Mental Health Act calls / five calls to assist to hospital with mental health patient – one apprehended.
Five assault complaints: two domestic in nature / one assault police/ two incidents between strangers.
Two break and enters to residences: one incident the suspect was known to the occupant and dispute over property/ one incident where suspects entered residence to “hang out.”
Two reports of property damage: very minor in nature.
Two drug seizures – marijuana.
Nine false alarms/ false 911 complaints.
One person arrested for intoxication in public place.
