Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) April 17 to 6 a.m., April 24.
Police handled 163 calls for service throughout this week.
Among the calls police handled…
Two impaired drivers issued 90-day Prohibitions.
Seven collisions – three in town and four outside of town including one hit and run.
Seven Mental Health Act calls – none apprehended/ two assist East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
Seven assault complaints: two domestic in nature where one person was arrested in each event.
Nine thefts reported including: four shoplifting; three thefts of a motor vehicle reported including two pickups and one dirt bike; one theft from motor vehicle; one report of two bikes stolen.
Three reports of property damage.
One drug seizure – marijuana.
14 false alarms/ false 911 complaints.
